3 Refreshing Drinks with Mint
3 Refreshing Drinks
for Summer
With Mint from the Garden
If you have garden mint - it's probably going wild this Summer
Mint is one of the easiest herbs to grow in your garden - if you grow it, you probably have a lot of it, here's 3 ideas on refreshing drinks to enjoy.
Grapefruit - Mint Paloma
This is kind of like a more refreshing version of a margarita. It's a fave in my house.
-
1 oz tequila (I use an organic silver tequila)
-
Juice of 1 Grapefruit
-
1 Mint leaf pummeled for extra flavor
-
Splash of Triple Sec
-
Heavy Sprigs of Mint for garnish
Strawberry Rose Mojito
Want to switch up your normal Summer Rose? This is a fun twist.
- Muddle 2 lime wedges, 5-6 Mint leaves and 2 Strawberries together
- Add in Ice
- 1 tsp agave
- 1/2 cup each: club soda + Rose wine
- Stir and Enjoy!
Virgin Mojito
When I'm avoiding alcohol but want something that feels festive, this is a go-to.
- Pummel 1 cut up lime + Mint leaves (I use about 4-5)
- Add ice over the top
- Pour club soda (or my favorite Topo Chico) over it to the top of the glass and enjoy!
